Oliver Diaz

Oliver Diaz currently serves as a Research Affiliate at Computer Vision Center and has been an Associate Professor and Lecturer at Universitat de Barcelona since October 2019. Additionally, Oliver is a Visiting Researcher at Consorci Sanitari Parc Taulí and University of Surrey, where responsibilities include the development of scattered radiation estimation methods and realistic breast lesion generation for synthetic breast imaging. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitat de Girona, focusing on artificial intelligence algorithms for breast cancer imaging and others, and experiences as a system administrator and network assistant earlier in the career. Oliver holds a PhD in Medical Imaging from University of Surrey, and additional qualifications in Medical Computing and Telecommunication Engineering.
