Dr. Xiang Song is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Portsmouth, a position held since February 2011. Prior to this role, Dr. Song served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cardiff University from August 2008 to February 2011 and held a dual role as Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Southampton from April 2004 to September 2008. Dr. Song completed a PhD in Industrial Optimization at the Department GSI, Université de Technologie de Troyes, France, between February 2001 and September 2004, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial Optimization at CIMS, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.
