Sheryl serves as SVP/Chief Risk Officer at Providence St Joseph Health. Providence is a 22 billion dollar company with 103,000 caregivers, based in 7 states with a broad range of services in health care and a strong focus on innovation and population health. Sheryl’s responsibilities include oversight for compliance, audit, risk management, and information security.

Prior to joining Providence St Joseph Health, Sheryl served as SVP/Chief Compliance and Audit Officer at the University of California which is a 29 billion dollar company, 197,000 employees, locations nationally and internationally with a focus on healthcare, education, research and public service. Sheryl was awarded Senior Vice President Emerita for her service as the first Chief Compliance and Audit Officer at the University in November 2016.
