Katharine Stein

Katharine Stein is a Program Specialist at URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement since August 2023. Previously, Katharine served as a Sales Associate at Lakeshore Learning Store from June 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included assisting customers both in-store and over the phone and managing large orders. In early 2023, Katharine interned at the University of Rhode Island, planning and hosting online webinars about careers and life in Japan and coordinating a volunteer event at a local middle school. Katharine also worked as a Student Worker at the University of Rhode Island from September 2021 to May 2022, focusing on the grammatical editing of student thank-you letters and organizing mailings. Katharine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Language and Area Studies with a focus on Japanese from the University of Rhode Island and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from the Community College of Rhode Island.
