Mat Delaire

Mat DeLaire has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of fundraising and development. Mat served as an Assistant Director of Annual Giving at URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement, where they played a key role in implementing a successful multi-million dollar annual fundraising program. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Manager at Providence Public Library, where they contributed to the organization's fundraising efforts. Mat also gained experience at Newport Historical Society as an Executive Assistant and Manager of Membership, overseeing a membership program and supporting the annual fundraising program. Mat began their career as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Rhode Island, where they assisted in achieving the university's strategic goals by recruiting potential students and managing travel arrangements.
