Chris Mereen

Chris Mereen has extensive experience in development and alumni relations within academic and healthcare institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Athletic Development at the University of Richmond since February 2023, Chris has previously held roles at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, where positions included Assistant Director of Development and Leadership Annual Giving Officer from May 2019 to February 2023. Prior experience includes Assistant Director of Annual Giving at The Catholic University of America and Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Officer at Randolph-Macon College. Chris began a career at Randolph-Macon College as Assistant Sports Information Director. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Randolph-Macon College and a high school diploma from St. Anne's-Belfield School.
