Ciro Genovese

Ciro Genovese currently serves as the Head of Department and Head of Teacher Education at the University of East London since September 2023. Additionally, Ciro is an External Examiner for NPQ provision at the University of Roehampton. From January 2009 to August 2023, Ciro held several positions at Canterbury Christ Church University, including Associate Head of School (Partnerships) and Course Director. Other notable roles include Chief External Examiner at the University of Warwick, External Examiner for the University of Reading, and External Assessor for the University of Exeter. Earlier experience includes teaching roles at St Clement Danes School, Clackamas Community College, and the University of Hertfordshire, as well as Goldsmiths, University of London. Ciro's academic qualifications include a PGCE in Religious Education and a MA in Theological Education from King's College London, along with a BA in Theology & Religious Studies from the University of Roehampton.
