Nabeel Khan

Nabeel Khan is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in cybersecurity and wireless networks. Currently serving as Associate Professor and Cyber Security Program Director at the University of Birmingham Dubai since May 2024, Nabeel also holds external examining roles at the University of Roehampton and Anglia Ruskin University. Previously, Nabeel was a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Cybersecurity at the University of Chester from June 2021 to September 2024 and worked as a Lecturer and Research Fellow at Kingston University from June 2017 to June 2021. Nabeel's earlier tenure at Kingston University involved roles as an Hourly Paid Lecturer and Research Associate, contributing to projects related to streaming technologies and resource management in wireless networks. Nabeel began a professional career as a Product Development Engineer at SYSTEK (PVT) LIMITED, focusing on the design and testing of power electronics products. Nabeel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kingston University, complemented by an MSc in Networking and Data Communications and a BS in Electronics Engineering from Sir Syed University.
