Maria Cozens

Maria Cozens currently serves as the Dual-field Nurses UK Network Lead for Learning Disability and Mental Health Nurses as of January 2024. In addition, Maria is an External Examiner at Middlesex University, a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health and Public Health at the University of Roehampton, and has experience as a Bank Community Outreach Nurse at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Previous roles include Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Specialist Practitioner PCN at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with a focus on addressing the biopsychosocial needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Maria holds a Master's degree in Research from Oxford Brookes University and additional qualifications in nursing from the University of Limerick and the University of West London.
