Rachael Stone

Rachael Stone currently serves as the Head of Governance and Vice-Chancellor’s Office at the University of Roehampton, a position expanded in January 2025 to encompass governance operations alongside the University Secretary, while leading a team of Executive Assistants. Previously, Rachael held the role of Trustee and Finance, Audit & Risk Committee member at The Manor Trust Ltd, and served as Head of Operations for the Social Purpose Group at the University of the Arts London, overseeing HR, Finance, Planning, and Governance. Rachael's extensive experience also includes various positions at the Royal College of Art, where responsibilities ranged from Operations Manager to Executive Assistant roles, as well as serving as a Resourcing Officer at Barts and The London NHS Trust and a Language Assistant for the British Council in Italy. Rachael holds an MBA from The Open University, a Risk Management short course from City St George’s, University of London, a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian from the University of Exeter.
