Andrew McMillin

Director, Legislative Affairs And Strategic Initiatives at University of San Diego

Andrew McMillin has had a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Andrew began their career at the University of San Diego in 2011 as an Associate University Minister and later transitioned to the role of Assistant Director in University Ministry. In 2016, they became the Constituent Relations Manager, where they successfully built and maintained relationships with various stakeholders. In 2019, Andrew took on the responsibility of being the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Engagement until 2021, when they were promoted to Director of Legislative Affairs and Strategic Initiatives. In this role, they established and maintained relationships with elected officials and supported fundraising activities. During their tenure at the University of San Diego, Andrew also served as an Instructor at the University of San Diego College of Arts and Sciences. Prior to their time at the University of San Diego, Andrew worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry from 2009 to 2011.

Andrew McMillin received their BA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of San Diego in 2007. Andrew then went on to earn their MTS in Theology from Boston College, graduating in 2011.
