Esther Hinton

Esther Hinton is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in restaurant management and operations. Currently serving as the Study Abroad Manager at the University of San Diego since July 2017, Esther also oversees La Gran Terraza restaurant, where responsibilities include managing administrative and operational activities, as well as the successful reopening after a lengthy closure due to COVID-19. Previously, Esther held managerial positions at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and Warwick Hotels and Resorts, focusing on employee training, event coordination, and inventory management. Esther began the career at Hotel Mozaic as a receptionist and gained initial experience at Walt Disney World as a front desk and lobby concierge employee. Esther holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of San Diego.
