Peter M. Iovine

Peter M. Iovine is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the field of chemistry. Since September 2002, Peter has held various positions at the University of San Diego, advancing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and now serving as Professor of Chemistry. In addition to academic pursuits, Peter co-founded BioSyn Polymerics in 2015. Peter's educational background includes a Post Doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry from Scripps Research and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by undergraduate education at Villanova University.
