Saturnino Garcia

Saturnino Garcia is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of computer science, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of San Diego since August 2012, following roles as Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher position at UC San Diego from September 2005 to July 2012, where notable research was conducted on program analysis, compilers, computer architecture, and nanotechnology. As an instructor at UC San Diego, Saturnino taught courses in computer architecture and served as a teaching assistant for six different courses. Saturnino's earlier experience includes an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at Drexel University focusing on secure wireless ad-hoc networks and an internship at Honeywell in control systems engineering. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
