Angi Chau is an experienced educator and leader in innovation and technology. Currently serving as the Director of the I-Lab Program at The Nueva School since August 2018, Angi has also taken on roles such as Interim I-Lab Director and Engineering Advisory Council Member at the University of San Francisco. Previously, Angi was the Director of the Bourn Idea Lab at Castilleja School and an instructor for the Maker Certificate Program at Sonoma State University. With a strong background in bioengineering, holding PhD degrees from both the University of California, San Francisco and University of California, Berkeley, as well as an MS from Stanford University and a BS from Rice University, Angi has contributed to numerous educational initiatives, including mentoring educators and students in maker-centered learning and computational simulations during graduate research.
