Dawn Mayer

Dawn Mayer has extensive experience in tax compliance and legal academia, currently serving as the Director of Tax Compliance at the University of San Francisco since June 2011, after holding positions as Associate Director and Tax Manager. Additionally, Dawn has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Management since August 2012. Prior legal expertise includes working as an Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP from August 2007 to June 2011 and as a Summer Associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in 2005. Earlier career roles included a Legal Internship at The Vanguard Group, Inc. and positions as an Equity Research Associate at both Commerce Capital Markets and Janney Montgomery Scott. Dawn holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a JD from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law, and a BA in Economics from Bryn Mawr College.
