Eileen Chia-Ching Fung

Eileen Chia-Ching Fung serves as the Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of San Francisco since January 2021, following roles as Dean and Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Eileen has an extensive background in academia at the University of San Francisco, including positions as Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities and Professor of English from August 1999 to July 2019. Eileen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in British Medieval Literature, Ethnic American Literature, and Gender and Sexuality Studies from UC Santa Barbara, obtained between 1992 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, as well as Asian American Studies from UCLA, completed in 1992.
