Melissa Diaz

Melissa Diaz, MBA, ARM, is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Director of Risk Management at the University of San Francisco since June 2015, where responsibilities include identifying and evaluating enterprise risks and providing control enhancements. Previously held the position of Risk Advisor in the Public Entity Group at Alliant Insurance Services from March 2013 to June 2015, focusing on unique risk exposures faced by public entities. Additional experience includes roles as Branch Account Manager at Restoration Management Company and Regional Account Executive at American Technologies, Inc., where marketing strategies and client management were key responsibilities. Melissa holds an Executive MBA from the University of San Francisco School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego.
