Shannon Gary

Shannon Gary serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students at the University of San Francisco since February 2017, overseeing critical departments including Case Management, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Title IX. Previously, Shannon held the position of Associate Vice Provost of Student Life and Dean of Students at Montclair State University and served as Associate Dean of Students at Drexel University. Additional roles include positions in honors programming and academic advising at Temple University and Lafayette College. Shannon's career began in human resources at Vanguard. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D. and M.S. Ed. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a BA in Economics and Psychology from Muhlenberg College.
