Michele Mele is a researcher specializing in combinatorial optimization at the University of Sannio since November 2019, focusing on scheduling problems and the design of mathematical models and algorithms. In addition, Michele has been a writer for Bright Young Folk since January 2019, reviewing albums and interviewing artists in the British and Irish folk music scene. As the creator and coordinator of the "Accessibilità all’Arte" project with Touring Club Italiano since November 2017, Michele manages the production of tactile reproductions of artworks in Italian landmarks. Earlier experience includes designing and translating the website for the Sinapsi Center at the University "Federico II" from May to November 2019. Michele holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Information Technology with a focus on Combinatorial Optimization from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, as well as a Laurea Magistrale and Laurea triennale in Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Salerno.
