Oğuz Ergin

Oğuz Ergin is a distinguished academic and industry professional, currently serving as Chair of the Department of Computer Engineering and Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Board at TOBB ETÜ since January 2006. With extensive experience in strategic planning, budget management, and public relations, Oğuz Ergin also chairs the academic commission for student admissions and oversees various academic programs. As a professor, Ergin has held various academic positions, including Chair of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering. Previous roles include director of the Kasırga Microprocessors Laboratory, visiting professor at ETH Zürich, and consultant for Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii. Oğuz Ergin holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Binghamton University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
