Shathika Kularatne

Shathika Kularatne is an AI Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at the University of South Australia since April 2022, specializing in ontology engineering and the application of agentic AI principles and LLMs for event ontology management. Shathika has experience as a Casual Academic Tutor for the Programming Fundamentals course, providing academic support and facilitating practical sessions. Prior to this role, Shathika served at MAS Holdings from February 2015 to April 2022 as a Data & Analytics Specialist and Senior Data Analyst, leading talent analytics initiatives and developing advanced data management solutions. Additional experience includes consulting as a Visiting Lecturer at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, conducting workshops on Talent Analytics, and an internship at Amba Research.
