Adel Nasiri

Adel Nasiri currently serves as the CEO of EVSoft LLC, a company focused on AI-based energy management systems for hybrid energy solutions, since December 2023. Previously, Nasiri co-founded Imagen Energy, a developer of efficient power converters for EV DC fast charging, leading it from inception to a successful exit in November 2023. At the University of South Carolina, Nasiri holds the position of CEC Distinguished Professor since August 2021. From August 2005 to July 2021, Nasiri was a Professor and Director of the Center for Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems at UW-Milwaukee, where efforts concentrated on enhancing collaboration in energy research. Nasiri also served as Interim Executive Director of the Connected Systems Institute and Site Director of the National Science Foundation center on Grid-connected Advanced Power Electronics Systems, contributing to advancements in power electronics and IoT technologies. With a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and two degrees from Sharif University of Technology, Nasiri has extensive expertise in electrical engineering and energy systems.
