Dan Cook is an experienced communications professional, currently serving as the Director of Editorial Content at the University of South Carolina since March 2016, where responsibilities include aligning messaging across various platforms and training communicators. Previously, Dan held positions such as Associate Director of Content Strategy, where web traffic to university stories increased significantly, and Content Strategist, enhancing content development and distribution. Additionally, Dan has provided freelance editing services since 2017 for Flock and Rally, and served as a freelance editor for Evening Post Industries. Dan's extensive background in editorial roles includes significant contributions to Free Times, where editorial leadership was demonstrated as Editor and Arts & Music Editor.
