Dr. Peter Swift serves as a Senior Instructor in Business Management and Marketing at the University of South Carolina Beaufort since 2007, where responsibilities include teaching various business-related subjects and coordinating the Saturday Business Degree Plan from 2008 to 2019. Prior to their academic role, Dr. Swift was the CEO and Founder of Horizon Consulting Group, Inc., providing management and marketing strategy consulting for notable Fortune 500 clients. Additional experience includes serving on the Executive Committee as Treasurer for Unquowa School Board of Governors, where financial turnaround efforts were executed, and holding previous positions at Glendinning Associates, Pepsi-Cola Company, Richardson Vicks, and the US Navy. Dr. Swift’s education includes a Doctorate in Management & Marketing from Pace University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Brown University.
