Jason Lambert, P.E., S.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason currently holds the role of Associate Vice President of Facilities Management at the University of South Carolina. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of Facilities Operations and Infrastructure, as well as the Senior Director of Engineering and Project Management at the University of Georgia. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where they held the position of Director of Facilities Management-Construction and Project Management Services, overseeing a significant Capital Improvement Program. Before their tenure in academia, Jason worked as a Project Engineer at PCS Structural Solutions and as an Assistant Manager-Athletic Operations Event Support Team at the University of Wyoming.
Jason Lambert, P.E., S.E. completed their Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with a Structural Emphasis at the University of Wyoming from 2001 to 2005. In 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Project Management at Colorado State University Global. Presently, they are in the process of obtaining a Doctor of Public Administration degree in Public Administration at Valdosta State University, starting in 2020 and expected to finish in 2025. Additionally, Jason Lambert holds several certifications, including a Professional Engineer (PE) license from the LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF obtained in 2022, and various engineering licenses from Texas and Georgia. Jason also holds certifications like Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) from APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities and is recognized as a Structural Engineer (S.E.) by the Georgia Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors.
