John Gerdes

John Gerdes, Jr is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of Management Information Systems. Currently serving at the University of South Carolina since January 2006, Gerdes holds multiple positions, including Faculty Director of the Rhodos Living Learning Community, Professor, and IIT Undergraduate Program Director. Prior positions include Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside from 1998 to 2006, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Ohio State University from 1996 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Management Information Systems from Vanderbilt University and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
