Mary Alexander

Mary Alexander, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice Provost for Administration and Operations at Baylor, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Mary held multiple roles at the University of South Carolina, including Assistant Provost of Academic Administration and Vice Provost for Academic Administration and Chief of Staff, beginning in December 2009. Mary's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina, obtained between August 2017 and March 2021, a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina-Columbia during 2012-2016, and a double degree in Finance and Management Science, with a focus on Public Finance and Management Science, from the University of South Carolina - The Moore School of Business, completed in 1991.
