Michele Abraham

Michele Abraham serves as the State Director of the South Carolina Small Business Development Centers at the University of South Carolina since January 2010, managing a network of professional advisors across 20 centers to support entrepreneurs and small businesses. Previously, Michele held the position of State Director for the Ohio Small Business Development Centers from 2004 to June 2009, overseeing 39 centers and a team of approximately 120 individuals while facilitating business growth. Additionally, Michele worked as the Chief of Strategic Management at the Ohio Department of Development, where strategic planning processes were established for the agency. Earlier roles include Regional Manager at Entertainment Publications, managing ad sales for the Ohio/Kentucky region, and a Business Development Manager at Owens Corning, focusing on the commercialization of new technologies. Michele holds a B.A. in Communications, Journalism, and Public Relations from Bowling Green State University.
