P'Laura Padgett

P'Laura Padgett, MS-CHEP, currently serves as a Human Resources Consultant and Training Manager at the University of South Carolina since May 2024, following a role as the Employer Relations and Career Development Manager at Benedict College. P'Laura has extensive experience in human resources, having worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at the University of South Carolina, where high-level support was provided for various HR functions. Prior to this, P'Laura held positions including Director of Student Services at Southeastern College and Institute and Administrative Assistant at the University of South Carolina. P'Laura's career began as a Career Development Specialist at Virginia College and Palmetto Goodwill, focusing on student development and career planning. P'Laura holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Certification in Higher Education Administration, both from Walden University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of South Carolina Aiken.
