April Lee

April Lee currently serves as the Assistant Director of Service Learning and Community Engagement and Undergraduate Recruiter for the School of Education at the University of South Dakota, with a tenure beginning in May 2018. Since January 2017, April has also acted as an Undergraduate Recruiter and assisted in the Continuing and Distance Education Graduate Program. In addition, since November 2007, April has been a Group Fitness and Yoga Instructor at the USD Wellness Center. Previous roles include Testing Proctor/Student at the University of South Dakota from 2014 to 2016, and Master Artistic Educator at Matrix Education from January 2003 to December 2014. April owned and operated a salon, The Cutting Edge, from October 2001 to November 2007, while also providing educational sessions for hairdressers. April holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and English from the University of South Dakota, awarded in 2018.
