John Little

John Little currently serves as the Director of Native Recruitment and Alumni Engagement at the University of South Dakota since December 2020, following a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of American Indian Studies. Prior to this, John held the position of Director at the Indian University of North America from January 2019 to December 2020, overseeing programs that facilitate Native American students' transition to college and promote leadership skills. John has also contributed as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota while holding the interim director position at the Indian University of North America in 2018. John earned a PhD in History from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in History from the University of South Dakota, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from South Dakota State University.
