Masum Rana

Masum Rana is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Program Coordinator for Data and Research at the University of South Dakota since January 2023. With experience as a Student Research Assistant, Masum analyzed and visualized grant data while contributing to report writing. In a prior role as a Data Initiative Assistant, Masum enhanced stakeholder understanding of children's well-being data through advanced visualizations using Tableau and applied various data analysis techniques. Additional research experience includes a position at the 2AI: Applied Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, where Masum collected and preprocessed datasets for AI applications in healthcare. Prior industry experience as a Software Engineer at Resnova Tech and as a Teaching Assistant at Daffodil International University enhances a solid foundation in computer science, supported by a Bachelor of Science from Daffodil International University and ongoing graduate studies at the University of South Dakota and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
