Dr Kate Khaleva (M.D.

Dr. Kate Khaleva holds an MD, MSc, and PhD, with extensive experience in pediatrics and clinical research. Currently serving as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics at the University of Southampton, Dr. Khaleva has also held roles as an Academic Visitor, Clinical Research Fellow, Senior Research Assistant, and Research Assistant at the institution since June 2019. Additionally, Dr. Khaleva is a Paediatric Trainee at Royal Hampshire County Hospital and recently completed a Paediatric Clinical Fellow position at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. Previous experience includes work as a Clinical Research Fellow focused on Pediatric Allergy Research at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust from May 2016 to May 2017. Dr. Khaleva is currently pursuing a PhD in Medicine at the University of Southampton, expected to be completed in April 2025, following a Master's degree in Allergy from the same institution obtained in 2019.
