Lorna Colquhoun

Lorna Colquhoun is an experienced professional in research and innovation management, currently serving as the Executive Director of Research and Innovation Services at the University of Southampton since April 2018. Previously, Lorna held a leadership role at UKRI BBSRC as the Executive Director for Strategic Planning, Evidence and Engagement (Interim) from April 2021 to January 2022. Lorna also served as the Director of Enterprise at the University of Bristol, where responsibilities included developing enterprise strategies, managing external funding relationships, and supporting spinout companies. Earlier roles included Divisional Administrator for Medicine and Senior Programme Manager at Imperial College London, as well as Programme Manager for International Health at the Medical Research Council, focusing on global health issues. Lorna holds a PhD from the University of Southampton.
