M. Julius Hossain

M. Julius Hossain is a seasoned professional in image and data analysis with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as the Head of Image and Data Analysis Group at the University of Southampton since March 2022, Hossain's prior roles include Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at EMBL from April 2012 to March 2022, and Postdoctoral Researcher at Dublin City University from June 2008 to March 2012. Hossain also held positions at the University of Dhaka as Assistant Professor and Lecturer from April 2003 to November 2011, and briefly as Research Faculty at Kyung Hee University in 2008. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer role at Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University and both MS and BS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Dhaka.
