Reem Doukmak

Reem Doukmak currently serves as a Research and Enterprise Officer and Research Funding Development Officer at the University of Southampton since February 2023. Additionally, Reem holds the position of Research Associate at the University of Birmingham and has been a Research Fellow and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Warwick since April 2020. Reem is also an Associate Fellow and Early Career Fellow with the Institute of Advanced Study at Warwick. In conjunction with these roles, Reem works as a Research Assistant at Canterbury Christ Church University and leads the Integration Team at the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre. Previous experience includes serving as an EAP Tutor at the University of Southampton and as a Lecturer at Al Baath University from November 2009 to October 2013. Reem holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from the University of Warwick and has training as a Frontend Developer from Code Your Future.
