Rod Anderson

Rod Anderson is a seasoned expert in transportation planning and engineering, currently serving as Senior Programme Manager at the University of Southampton since January 2013, where responsibilities include client relationships, business development, and programme management within the Transport Research and Innovation Centre. Previously, Rod held roles as Rail Centre Coordinator for a multi-disciplinary rail research program, Technical Director at Balfour Beatty Major Civil Engineering, Director of Transport for Swindon Borough Council, Head of Roads and Transport at Southampton City Council, and Depute Director of Roads and Transport for Shetland Islands Council. Rod holds a Master of Science in Transportation Planning and Engineering from the University of Southampton and a Master of Arts in Civil Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
