Sophie Powell

Sophie Powell is currently a Visiting Researcher at the University of Portsmouth and a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Southampton. Previously, Sophie completed a PIPS internship at Promega Corporation, where involvement in over 10 projects across various departments enhanced skills in strategic marketing, finance, and technical services. Experience includes laboratory technician roles at Cardiff University and extensive research in stem cell neurobiology, achieving accolades such as a prize-winning scientific poster presentation. Sophie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from the University of Southampton, a Master of Research in Stem Cell Neurobiology from Cardiff University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
