Annie Thompson

Annie Thompson has extensive experience in library services and management, currently serving as Head of the Norris Medical Library and Director of Science & Engineering and Health Sciences Libraries at the University of Southern California since December 2008. Previous roles include managing the Wilson Dental Library, providing reference services at various educational levels, and interim positions at Ipas, where responsibilities encompassed technical duties, collection development, and oversight of library operations. Annie's earlier background includes roles in rights negotiation and contract management at HarperCollins Publishers and Simon and Schuster. Educational qualifications include pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California and holding a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside other degrees in publishing and English.
