David A Barnhart is an accomplished aerospace engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the space industry. As CEO and Co-Founder of Arkisys since January 2015, Barnhart has played a pivotal role in advancing space technology. Additionally, Barnhart serves as the Director of the USC Space Engineering Research Center, contributing to educational and research initiatives in satellite engineering since September 2014. Prior experience includes a tenure as Program Manager at DARPA, where Barnhart developed innovative projects such as the Phoenix Project and the SeeMe Project. Barnhart also held the position of Research Professor at the University of Southern California and Co-Founder and VP at Millennium Space Systems. Barnhart holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University.
