Denise Blasor

Visiting Professor

Denise Blasor is an accomplished Theater Director with extensive experience in theater, radio, and film. Currently serving as Theater Director at the University of Southern California since August 2014, notable projects include directing Cynthia Ochoa's "BROKEN SHELLS" and stage productions such as "EVERYBODY" by Branden Jacobs Jenkins and "MARISOL" by Jose Rivera. Blasor also holds the position of Creative Director at Hombre Nuevo Guadalupe radio and has directed multiple podcasts, producing content in both English and Spanish. As a director for the San Francisco Playhouse and the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, Denise has led various productions, including "WATER BY THE SPOONFUL" and "LA CASA DE BERNARDA ALBA." In addition to directing, Blasor's work includes acting roles in projects such as "A PLACE AMONG THE DEAD" and the "Snowfall" TV series. With a BFA in Theatre and Art from Marygrove College, Denise Blasor continues to make significant contributions to the arts community.
