James Staten

James Staten serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the University of Southern California since January 2016. Previously, James held the position of Executive Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer at Yale New Haven Health System and Yale New Haven Hospital from September 2000 to January 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Vice President of Finance at New York Presbyterian Health System from June 1993 to September 2000, and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young from January 1991 to June 1993. Additionally, James was a Partner - Elect at Panel Kerr Forster between October 1980 and December 1990. James Staten earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York from 1976 to 1980.
