Karen Rios

Karen Rios, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Head of Human Resources for the Glorya Kaufman School of Dance at the University of Southern California since October 2019, previously holding positions as Administrative Associate and HR Manager in the organization. With a strong background in human resources, Rios has worked in various capacities, including as a Part-Time Resource Employee at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and as a Contract HR Consultant with Strategies for Human Resources. Rios's extensive experience includes roles as an HR Administrator at Teledyne Controls and HR Recruiter Coordinator at Epson America Inc. Rios is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at USC Rossier School of Education, and holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Design from Claremont Graduate University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
