Katie Pineda

Katie Pineda is an experienced leader in human resources and project management, currently serving as the Director of HR Portfolio and Change Management at the University of Southern California since November 2020. In this role, Katie oversees strategic HR programs and manages projects, submitting proposals to senior leadership while addressing human resources issues through effective project management. Prior to this, Katie was a Consultant at The Cerebration Group, focusing on skill development in HR and management, and held various educational roles including Special Education Teacher in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Katie's early career includes positions such as Division Supervisor at the Orange County Employee Retirement System and Project Management Intern at SM&A. Katie holds a Master's in Information Systems Management from the University of Arizona and an MBA from California Baptist University.
