Laura Korobkova

Laura Korobkova is an experienced graduate student at the University of Southern California, focusing on the investigation of neuronal circuits associated with valence and stress responses in rodent models. Previously, Laura worked as a technician on the mouse connectome project at the Keck School of Medicine and served as a visiting researcher in neuroscience at USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Laura's early career included roles as a fundraiser and coordinator at Moscow Children Hospice and as an education program manager for the Russian Hospice Foundation. Additional experience includes positions as a film editor at All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and a TV buyer at MPG. Laura holds a master's degree in biotechnology from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and multiple degrees in biochemistry, clinical psychology, and public relations/fundraising from various institutions.
