Long Doan

Long Doan serves as the Executive and Vice President of Clinical Research at a currently unnamed company since June 2024, building on a robust career in clinical research and education. Long has been an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at the University of Southern California since April 2009, where Long actively mentors pharmacy students and teaches courses in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Regulatory Affairs. Prior roles include Senior Director of Clinical Research at Glaukos Corporation, where Long contributed to innovative glaucoma treatment developments, and Director of Clinical Research at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, focusing on central nervous system studies. Additional experience spans senior roles at Allergan, managing global clinical trials, and various positions in clinical research and coordination, beginning as a Clinical Research Associate at Paragon Biomedical. Long holds a BS in Psycho-Biology from UCLA, a PhD in Epidemiology, and an MSPH in Public Health from Walden University.
