Octavio Avila

Octavio Avila serves as the Director of USC Dornsife Career Pathways at the University of Southern California since March 2013, where responsibilities include determining the vision, creating, and implementing services and programs for career exploration and preparation for students and alumni. Prior to this role, Octavio Avila was the Associate Director at the USC Dornsife Office of Advising from August 2007 to March 2013 and held positions as an Academic Advisor and Admission Counselor at USC from June 1998 to August 2007. Octavio Avila earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Post Secondary Administration and Student Affairs from USC and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
