Sudesh Mujumdar

Sudesh Mujumdar currently serves as the Dean of the Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mujumdar was the Dean of the College of Business Administration and Interim AVP of Academic Affairs at Savannah State University, where the focus included supporting faculty development and fostering community partnerships. Mujumdar has a substantial history at the University of Southern Indiana, having held various academic positions from 2001 to 2019, including Chair of Economics and Marketing and Associate Professor of Economics, with notable contributions to curriculum modernization and research initiatives. Additional academic experience includes a role as Graduate Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Visiting Scholar position at the Reserve Bank of India. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Economics, specializing in Econometrics, from the University of Bombay.
