Dr Jasmine Thomas

Dr. Jasmine Thomas serves as an Associate Director at the University of Southern Queensland, holding multiple titles in ICT Governance and Partnerships, Academic Integrity, and Evaluation since February 2017. With extensive experience in higher education, Dr. Thomas developed a new privacy law elective and managed various courses, enhancing student engagement through online learning. Previous roles include Manager of Learning and Teaching Initiatives, Senior Project Manager for Digital Transformation, and Executive Officer in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's Office, where research and strategic planning were key responsibilities. Prior to academic roles, Dr. Thomas worked as Business Development Manager at GOFINDER International, focusing on software solutions and marketing strategies. Dr. Thomas holds a PhD in Law, Ethics, and Philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland and has held leadership roles within academic and professional law organizations.
